Filtration, homogenisation and degassing at its best

The TVE extruder system has set new standards in filtration, homogenisation and degassing performance with plastic melts through the patented design of the melt filtration upstream of the extruder degassing stage. This basic principle has also been maintained with TVEplus (patent pending). Thanks to special design and process engineering measures, performance has now been optimised even further. The TVEplus unites high-performance degassing, thorough melt homogenisation and the possibility to achieve ultra-fine filtration.

Recycling lumps, fibres, tapes, parts from the automotive industry and much more.

The patented COAX system stands out through the coaxial configuration of a single-shaft shredder and extruder. The single-shaft shredder and extruder are operated using only one shared drive system - simple and ingenious. This system is ideal for processing production waste in the form of large-volume, non-shredded material portions such as PP tape piles, PP fibre bales, PA non-wovens, PP raffia, lumps, crates, ropes, piping parts, automotive parts and much more.

The patented double pusher system

  • The single-shaft shredder of the COAX features a double pusher system.
  • The intake angle on the rotor is adjusted according to material type and its properties. This enables the processing of heavy, well flowing and self-feeding materials and also lightweight, bulky materials and highly tear-resistant materials such as fibres and tapes.
  • The touch screen is used for recipe administration for different materials. Processing parameters can be changed at the press of a button.

VACUREMA – one technology – 3 different applications.

Different customer requirements call for different technological solutions. EREMA offers VACUREMA technology in three different systems – VACUREMA Basic, Advanced and Prime – according to the field of application and the requirements placed on the end product. Since it was launched the patented process has become the most widely used technology worldwide for recycling not only post consumer PET bottle flake but also PET in-house waste.

The most proven and most widely sold recycling technology for the processing of PET waste. Over 120 systems are in use around the world, producing end products with an overall capacity of over 700,000 tons per year in a wide variety of application fields such as bottle-to-bottle, flat sheet, strapping, fibre, etc.

2. Extremely flexible

  • Input material form variable: depending on the end application the system processes PET bottle flakes, ground amorphous skeleton waste/edge trim and virgin material (also in mixtures), i.e. bulk densities of 250 to 850 kg/m3.
  • IV increase adjustable: depending on throughput and input material.

3. Highly efficient decontamination, ultra-low carbon footprint
The flakes are decontaminated quickly and efficiently. Specific energy consumption per kg of material processes is very low. The carbon footprint is reduced even further by ecoSAVE®.

4. Robust
The sturdy and robust VACUREMA single-screw technology with its extremely short extruder is insensitive to contamination solids and delivers sufficient melt pressure to meet the decisive quality criteria necessary for the fine filtration of solid matter.

5. Large area ultra-fine melt filtration
EREMA filter systems have very large active filter surfaces. This enables filtration with up to 32 μm fineness at low pressure. The result is highly clean repellets.

6. Pellets ideal for mixing with virgin material
Depending on the downstream equipment chosen the system produces cylindrical or ball shaped pellets with the same geometry as virgin material. This means, therefore, that repellets produced with VACUREMA technology require no adjustment of dryers, crystallisers and preform machines.

7. Fully automatic
The innovative process control system software enables extremely user-friendly and safe operation. Additionally, users benefit from start-up at the press of a button, fully automatic continuous operation, permanent monitoring for direct food contact (FCC) and the storage of relevant process parameters.

SW RTF technology
Partial surface backflushing technology involves flushing a comparatively small area of the screen surface in relation to the total active screen area by passing a central stream of clean melt through from the back of the screen. High velocity is possible at the screen due to the small surface area of screen to be flushed at a time, resulting in optimum cleaning efficiency.
